Flu vaccination clinics

For autumn-winter 2021-2022, flu jabs are being given with COVID booster vaccinations. If you are eligible, when you are invited to book in for your booster you will be offered a flu jab, too.

However at St Mary’s we are holding a series of special flu clinics. These are for children, pregnant women and for patients who are entitled to an NHS flu vaccination but are not entitled to a COVID booster or who have missed out on getting a flu vaccination because they attended a mass vaccinations centre where only COVID boosters were being given.

It’s more important than ever to get your free flu jab.

These clinics are currently being held on Monday evening between 6.30pm and 8pm. Appointments can be booked via reception on 01353 663434, as we do need to check eligibility and ensure we have the correct vaccine in stock for your age group.

If your child is aged between 2-3 and has not yet received their flu nasal spray for this year, please contact us to book them in to one of our mini children’s clinics.

Flu vaccinations for those patients who are housebound are being carried out by the community district nursing team, and patients are being contacted. Please DO NOT call the surgery about this.
