Use NHS App to show vaccine status

People in England who have received vaccinations against COVID-19 can show their vaccination status for international travel via their smartphone or tablet.

You can find your vaccination status on the NHS App. Simply download it for free from the App Store or Google Play. Follow the online instructions to register. You will need your NHS number to complete your App registration.

We suggest that you register with the App before you book any overseas travel.

Please DO NOT contact your doctor about your COVID-19 vaccination status.

St Mary’s Surgery CANNOT provide letters showing your vaccination status.

Once your ID verification is confirmed and your registration complete, you will be able to see your vaccination record. You can also download them to paper copy which shows them as a QR code.

Please note with so many thousands of people looking to access their vaccination status, it may take a few days for your identity to be checked and verified so you can use the NHS App.

If you do not have access to a smart phone and you have had your two vaccinations, you can call NHS 119 and request a paper copy of your vaccines. Only call 119 if you are due to travel abroad in the near future and have had your second dose more than 5 working days ago. It may take 7 working days for the letter to arrive.

When you are planning your holiday overseas, please do check out the latest information about demonstrating your COVID-19 vaccination status and country entry requirements on the gov.uk website.
