Non-urgent blood tests restart

Posted on:

Good news! NHS England has confirmed that routine blood tests at all NHS settings, including GP surgeries, will begin again.

As you may be aware there has been a pause on non-clinically urgent blood tests due to a major shortage in the supply of vials used for the tests. NHS England has confirmed the supply issues have now been resolved and that tests can resume.

If you were advised by St Mary’s that a routine blood test you were expecting was on hold, please do get back in touch with us to make a new appointment. Tel: 01353 663434, selecting option 1 from the menu.
