Update for patients on face coverings

Posted on:

The national NHS guidance about wearing masks in healthcare settings has changed.

Patients are no longer required to wear masks or face coverings when they visit the surgery.

You will see our doctors, nurses and healthcare assistants still wearing masks and PPE in face-to-face appointments. This is to continue to keep everyone – both our staff and our patients – as safe as possible.

Patients who have a known or suspected respiratory illness, including coughs, fevers or cold symptoms, will be asked to wear a face covering, unless exempt.

You are more than welcome to continue to wear your face covering when you come to the surgery, if you prefer.
