Sutton Surgery Closure

We are saddened by the recent announcement that Priors Field Surgery in Sutton will be closing on the 31st March 2023. We have been told that patients of Priors Field Surgery will be receiving a letter during the week commencing 6th March which will provide details of the new practice they will be registered with.

We have been provided with a list of patients who will be allocated to St Mary’s Surgery and most of these patients currently live in Witchford, Wentworth, Witcham and Sutton. We will be registering the allocated patients between the 7th and 24th March. Priors Field patients allocated to St Mary’s will not need to contact us with any information at this time, as we expect it to be provided to us centrally by NHS England.

We have been asked by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough ICB (Integrated Care Board) who are managing the process, not to register any patients from Priors Field Surgery who have not been allocated to our practice until after 1 April 2023, as this will disrupt the patients’ registration and may lead to issues with transfer of medical records.

Please note Priors Field Surgery will continue to provide care for their patients in the meantime.
