We are moving back to 37 St Mary’s Street

I am pleased to report that the installation of the two lifts which will give us access to the 1st and 2nd floor of the renovated surgery building have been fully commissioned and will allow patient access to all the clinical rooms. We are delighted that we can now move back to the old surgery site at 37 St Mary’s Street.

Our last day seeing patients at the portacabins on the Princess of Wales Hospital site will be Friday 30th June.

From Monday 3rd July please come to 37 St Mary’s Street.

There is a front entrance for pedestrians off St Mary’s Street and a rear entrance for patients using the carpark.  To the right of the front entrance is the main letter box and there is also a bicycle shelter at the rear entrance. The car park is in the same position at the rear of the building and there is a barrier to the car park which will be locked outside of surgery opening hours, so please only use the car park when attending for appointments.

On the ground floor you will find the Main Patient Services Reception, Collections & Registrations and the Dispensary collection for out dispensing patients. There is also a red collection box for requested specimens for the hospital laboratory.

There are patient check in screens just inside the front and rear entrances – these will direct you to the floor where the person you are consulting will be working. There are waiting areas on all 3 floors and stairs and lifts to access all 3 floors. There are call screens on all floors which will let you know when your clinician is ready to see you and which room they are in.
