Latest changes to COVID booster programme

Further to the Prime Minister’s unexpected announcement last night (Sunday 12 December), the Ely PCN’s are working through the logistics of what changes may need to be made at our two hubs. We will publish details of our locally accelerated booster programme as soon as possible.
We continue to invite people aged 45+ for their booster and, if you are eligible to attend our hubs, you can book through the link on the text message sent to you, or contact your own surgery to be booked in.
In the meantime, people who are now eligible following last night’s statement are asked to book through the National Bookings Service and attend a mass vaccination site. You can book online or ring 119, if you do not have internet access.
Please DO NOT ring the surgery as we CANNOT book you in.
Through the National Booking Service:
- People aged 30+ can book for their COVID booster three months from the date of their 2nd dose.
- People aged 18-29 should be able to book at a mass vaccination site from Wednesday 15 December.
Please remember, much of the country is trying to do this at the same time and the National Booking Service website has been crashing. We understand capacity issues are being worked on.
