The government has increased the COVID alert level up to level 4 and NHS England has asked all GP Surgeries to make vaccinating all adults the number one priority until the end of December. This is to try to prevent a wave of COVID infection that will overwhelm hospitals. The NHS fully acknowledges that routine healthcare in general practice will need to be paused, temporarily.

We will still deal with genuinely urgent needs, but we need your help to reduce the number of non-urgent and routine requests.

Your local pharmacy is able to give advice around minor ailments, and NHS 111 is also available for advice. For life-threatening health problems, please call 999. The NHS website has good information about everyday health issues.

Thank you for your help at this critical time.
