PHASE 1 of Operation move back to 37 St Mary’s Street – Dispensary re-opening

Posted on:

We are pleased to announce that our dispensary will be reopening on the 3rd of April 2023 following a brief pause due to our extensive renovation project at number 37 St Mary’s Street. All the staff are very excited and looking forward to offering medical services in our amazing new premises and we are undertaking this in 3 phases to ensure safety for all our patients.

Dispensary offers services to our rural village patients, supporting their access to medicines, as well as assisting the workflow of medication requests for the wider practice. We have invested heavily in this team, including new staff and a free delivery service. You may spot the Surgery dispensary van around the various villages.

Dr Rayner said ‘it is really good to get the dispensary back up and running. The team offer excellent services to our patients and are a huge asset to the surgery as a whole’.

Repeat prescription requests can still be dropped off at the letter box at number 80 St Mary’s Street for the time being and in the red letter box at our temporary site at the Princess of Wales Hospital. We also have a box by the dispensary collection area on the ground floor at No 37 St Mary’s Street. Details on other ways to order medication can be also be found on the website (link). Dispensary can also be contacted on 01353 663434 option 3.

We will still have workers from our contractors SHE French working in the building over the next few weeks so please can I ask only patients who need to collect medication attend the surgery at 37 St Mary’s Street.

The dispensary collection area will be on the right as you enter the front of the building and on the left if you enter from the rear car-park entrance.

There are 2 more phases of the full occupation of the building and the website will be updated in due course.

Please some photographs of the activities over the last few days.
