PHASE 2 of Operation move back to 37 St Mary’s Street
Dispensary open and ground floor clinical rooms to be used for some Health Care Assistant and Nurse clinics and GP appointments
We are still waiting for our lifts to be installed for access to the first and second floors which we hope will be completed by the end of June. In the interim period we will start using some of the ground floor clinical rooms from the 17th April 2023.
However our main clinical operation will remain at our portacabins at the Princess of Wales Hospital site. Please be aware of this when attending for appointments to ensure you go to the correct site.
Since our dispensary reopened on the 3rd April we have had quite a few queries for St Mary’s Pharmacy. St Mary’s Pharmacy and Advanced Pharmacy are independent pharmacies, both owned by Mr Shah and these have now merged and are based at 64 St Mary’s Street next to the Co-Op.
There have also been queries of where to post repeat prescription requests, the options are:
- In the red letter box at our temporary site at the Princess of Wales Hospital.
- In the grey box by the dispensary collection area on the ground floor at No 37 St Mary’s Street
- In the black letter box outside No 37 St Mary’s Street
Details on other ways to order medication can be also be found on the website Repeat prescriptions – St Mary’s Surgery (stmarysely.nhs.uk). Dispensary can also be contacted on 01353 663434 option 3.
We will still have workers from our contractors SEH French working in the building until the lifts are installed so please be aware of this.
I would like to thank Alys Turner from Cambridgeshire and Peterborough ICB and members of her IT team Rhys, Jamie, Dino, Steve, Mark and Sean who have been so supportive over the last few weeks in getting our computers up and running and also Phil and his team from Convergence for our telephony.
