DiscoverMe Research Study – Message from Practice and Research Nurse Louise King

Posted on:

Join a nationwide research study that aims to analyse the health and genetic information of thousands of people.

‘Discover Me’ aims to improve our understanding of many different diseases, and to identify ways to help GP practices improve patient care.

By taking part in ‘Discover Me’ you will be able to receive information about your ancestry and some of your health information through a secure online participant portal.

Access to this information could also help you and your GP make better decisions about your health care.

Your contribution, along with thousands of others, will help improve the health and care of future generations.

Anyone aged 18 or over can join ‘Discover Me’

We are aware that when patients enrol for the Discover Me study the practice address is shown as the Princess Of Wales site where we were based during the building work at 37 St Marys Street.

This will not affect your participation in the study and will be updated shortly by the Discover Me study team.
